Thirty-Four Years Ago Today




Without question one of the five best nights of my life for multiple and wonderful reasons, pre-show, show, and shazam! post-show.

    Saw them in 1978 or 79, and became a fan.

    (Didn't stop loving Led Zeppelin and the Ramones, just added the Dead to the play list.)

    Had a chance to go to that show, IIRC. It wouldn't have been the first time I'd hitched from Chapel Hill to a show in Derm in or about that time. FZ! Santana! Springsteen! Prolly couldn't scrape up the scratch.
